IMM offers an experience that makes you understand as a Christian Medic that there is a far more greater purpose to your Profession. It offers practical and basic training on tools needed to equip you as a professional in the area of Missions.

As a christian medic, i had always sought a method of making my faith gain expression and relevance in my profession. IMM 2017 answered with clarity the questions of “how”. It taught me, in practical terms, the place of Medicine in Missions, and equipped me with Knowledge and skills to be effective in this regard.

For me, truly life transforming. I came to camp with great expectations having heard great testimonies from the previous year’s participants, and God surpassed them all. I left with a great hunger to know Him more and seek Spiritual growth. I left with my life’s purpose becoming even clearer to me. Its 3 years gone now, but IMM 2017 still stands as one of my best experiences in CMDA.

IMM was an eye opener into the vision and mission of CMDA. A clear and better understanding of the biblical basis and history of Missions. And a stir for a deeper relationship with God in caring for the whole man.

IMM was a meeting that reminded of the mandate we have as believers and the advantage medical professionals have as a platform for reaching the world for Christ. Various sessions revealed several ways one can go about planting the seed of the word. Also, it was an opportunity to interact with people doing the work firsthand.

Attended IMM without much expectations. But after the program I left there with an understanding and a burden of God’s agenda for Christians in the health field and more importantly various areas of ministry and how I can get involved. I left there a missionary and a surrendered vessel.

Imm was a life changing encounter. I spent seven days immersed in teachings that were very practical and insightful, ministering to almost every facet of my life. One of the beautiful things about IMM is that you just get to bond even with the ministers one on one creating room for even deeper interactions and concomitant teachings. You just couldn’t be left out. It was really refreshing.

IMM was a revelation to me as it helped me understand a lot about Missions even as a year 1 student then and all through the years the experience have helped me in the planning for missions activities in my chapter especially the rural medical mission and it kinda created a bond between a few of us who attended it… like we became known in school for always volunteering for anything that involves missions

At the final meeting during IMM 2016, I left the room, standing outside I wept out a prayer, ”God I don’t want to go back”. In those 7 days I felt the power of a group of people on mission, I felt we could conquer anything. Very importantly, I received a compass for my life, I started to hear God’s call, which I still hear till today.

Attending my first IMM in 2018, I had one expectation from the first day. “Lord show me something I haven’t seen before”. It was the beginning of your lifetime journey with God. God reawakened my understanding of his word and work. It was the beginning of a lifetime journey.
